Winery Walkabout holds a special place in many people's hearts as one of the biggest and most entertaining food and wine festivals in the state. Rutherglen wineries have been hosting this great event since 1974 with a focus on laughter, music, entertainment, hearty winter food, fancy costumes, friendship and of course, tasting some of the best wine of Australia!
Over Queen's Birthday long weekend (June 7th-8th) we look forward to seeing you at Stanton and Killeen. Like Tastes of Rutherglen in March, there is an excellent shuttle bus service that means you don't have to worry about parking, navigating the roads or someone in your group being left holding the car keys!
At S&K, we have cold-weather worthy food of pizza, coffee and poffertjies (small Dutch pancakes) with a range of toppings. There is a Reserve Tasting Area ($10 entry or free for Cellar Club Members) with special access to some of our oldest and rarest wines, our famous Hole in One golf competition, Scenic Helicopter flights, and the forever entertaining George McFloyd Blues Band plus much more.
Plenty of parking and undercover sales, tasting and dancing area means that S&K is a must-visit for the weekend. Prizes for best costumes.
