As always, wineries around Rutherglen are getting prepared to host one of Victoria’s best food and wine festivals with each winery teaming up with a regional chef to provide delicious cuisine matched perfectly with selected wines. Music, entertainment, public transport and entrée-sized meals mean you can hop from one winery to the next enjoying the best food and wine on offer.
At Stanton and Killeen we have joined forces with the excellent team at Ox and Hound in Beechworth. On Saturday 8th and 15th of March, you can enjoy traditional French fare of succulent wild rabbit and braised root vegetable pithivier with green tomato relish matched with our new Sparkling Shiraz.
On Sunday 9th and 16th, we have sumptuous autumn grazing platter featuring a French inspired farmhouse terrine, smoked Harrietville trout, marinated olives and pear relish accompanied with Milawa bread matched with our 2011 Moodemere Shiraz.
