Seasonal Food Foray

Enjoy a Seasonal Food Foray (SFF), a progressive lunch showcasing some of the region's best food and wine at four participating wineries. It's a perfect idea for those wanting a leisurely way to enjoy Rutherglen at their own pace. Enjoy four courses created by The Pickled Sisters Café  with each dish perfectly matched with a wine from the four host wineries.

The Spring Seasonal Food Foray begins at The Pickled Sisters Café at Cofield Wines with canapés and a glass of sparkling. Guests can then leisurely make their way down the road to Pfeiffer Wines and Stanton & Killeen, enjoying a seasonally inspired dish matched to a glass of specially selected wine at each winery. The day finishes at Buller Wines with a decadent dessert and a fortified wine.

  • Cofield Wines: Butt's Smoked Trout & Horseradish Mousse, paired with Cofield Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay

  • Pfeiffer Wines: Milawa Free Range Chicken & Pistachio Terrine with peach chutney, paired with 2013 Pfeiffer Marsanne

  • Stanton & Killeen Wines: Succulent Confit Duck with raspberry dressed rocket, spiced oranges & shaved fennel, paired with 2012 Stanton & Killeen Shiraz Durif

  • Buller Wines: Rich Chocolate Torte with chocolate sauce, paired with Buller Fine Old Muscat
