Love cheese and wine? Of course you do, what a silly question! Then our Cheese and Fortified Masterclass held during Tastes of Rutherglen 2016 will be the perfect event to treat your tastebuds.
Last year, Wendy Killeen hosted a cheese and wine matching event at fromagerie and wine bar, Milk the Cow, in Lygon St, Melbourne. It was a tremendous evening. We were very excited when Head Cheesemonger, Laura Lown, was keen to travel up the Hume Highway and recreate the event amongst our barrels at the winery. Tastes of Rutherglen is all about great food, wine and company so what better way to learn more about two of your favourite things?
Numbers will be limited so gather your friends and family and secure your place. A flight of four cheeses have been carefully chosen to match our luscious fortifieds. Laura will take you through the finer details of how different cheeses are made and what to look for when creating your own tasting plate at home.
By purchasing a ticket, you go into the draw to win a year's 'Gold' membership to S&K's Quinta Club. That's 18 bottles a year, a 12.5% discount on all wine purchases and exclusive access to special release wines.
