The long awaited Jack's Block Shiraz 2008 has finally been released.  Perfect vintage conditions allowed the grapes to be handpicked at optimum ripeness.

Our proven formula of open vat fermentation, hand plunging and temperature control has resulted in a magnificent wine, very much in own own unique style.  Careful pressing and moderate maturation in new American oak hogsheads produced a shiraz of flavour and power with all components in complete balance and harmony.  As with all our 2008 reds we offer this Jack's Block with pride knowing it is a sensational drink right now but also worthy of extensive cellaring for those who prefer their special treasures with some display of maturity.
